The Rock Won the Wrestling Mania 28 1st April 2012

John Cena is first to enter and it sounds like a mixed reaction from the crowd, in The Rock's hometown. Interesting.
Now Flo Rida is coming out to perform and support The Rock. Both are from Miami so I am sure the crowd is loving this.
And now The Rock's music hits and the crowd exploded. Rock is taking in all this glory for as long as he can. Either that or the other matches ran short so he is burning time.
Now with individual introductions from Justin Roberts, Cena gets a mixed reaction again and The Rock gets a huge pop from the crowd.
And finally, they will get this started.
This crowd is crazy ready for this match to begin. They are circling and finally come to the center and grapple. Cena throws Rock across the ring and the crowd seemed stunned. The "Let's go Cena" "Cena sucks" chants already begin.
This time they come together and The Rock is the one throwing Cena across the ring. Cena tries to smile it off. Rock gets Cena in a side headlock. This crowd is nuts. Even in a slow moment this crowd is ready to explode.
Rock with some great moves and looking amazing at this point. Cena gives a face of disbelief. Rock went for a pinfall but did not get it. Now Rock running the ropes and Cena hip tosses Rock and gets a headlock of his own on the mat. Rock stands it up and pushes Cena away before hitting him and attempting a sharpshooter but Cena runs out of the ring.
Rock pulls Cena back in but gets reversed and Cena is hitting Rock in the corner now. Cena with a clothesline now and goes for a pin. Only gets a 1 count. Cena trying to wear the Rock down and test his endurance.
Rock trying to battle back but John Cena throws Rock over the top rope. Working outside the ring now, Cena is dropping Rock on the announcers table and the ref is asking if Rock wants to continue. The Rock is holding his ribs tight, seemingly hurt after those hits. Cena starts to hit him in the ribs.
Back in the ring now and Cena hits a belly to belly suplex and gets a near pinfall. Cena looks very determined and is trying to play this smart. Goes for a punch and Rock starts battling back. Off the ropes and Cena picks Rock up in a bearhug. The midsection of Rock is really getting worked over right now.
Crowd starting to chant again and Rock is fighting back. Pushing Cena off and starting his patented punches into a ddt. Cover gets a 2 count.
Cena gets up and takes it to The Rock in the corner. Rock reverses and hits a flying clothesline into a spinebuster. Wants the peoples elbow but Cena rolls out and then Cena runs the ropes and hits his slam. Now he wants the 5 knuckle shuffle. It connects so Cena will look for the Attitude Adjustment. Gets Rock up but he slides off and they double clothesline.
Both men up now and they exchange punches in the middle. Rock getting the better until the AA hits!! Cover!
1...2...Kickout!!
So close! Rock gets up and hits the Rock Bottom! Goes for the cover but only gets 2!!
Rock has control now, working on Cena in the corner. Cena reverses into a side slam and almost gets a pinfall! Now John is going up to the top rope, Cena hits his leg drop on Rock and again gets a near pin! 2 and a half for sure!
Cena looking for the AA again, gets him up but Rock gets out. Takes Cena down and now the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring! Rock has it and is pulling but Cena fights his way to the ropes. Rock starts pulling Cena away and goes for it once again, locking it in deep this time.
But once again, John fights to the ropes and gets out of it. Now at the apron, Rock is hammering away. Cena gets tossed into the steel steps, then gets his head bounced off for good measure. Back in the ring, Cena reverses and locks in the stfu!
Rock is fighting his way to the ropes. Cena jumps off just to pull Rock away farther, then locks it back in again. Rock looks like he is hurting and actually tempted to tap. Or that he will pass out. He looks cold now.
The ref is pulling at his arm. It falls once, then twice. One more and it is over. This time the Rock is fighting! The crowd gets hot and he is struggling to the ropes. He makes it!!
Rock gets up and hits a Samoan drop. Now they both lay on the mat, trying to get back to their feet.
Now they are up, after a 7 count, and Rock is punching. Now wants a Rock Bottom but gets reversed into an AA attempt. That gets dropped and Rock delivers a spinebuster. People's elbow time! It connects! The pin...
1....2.....Kickout!!
Roll up pin from Cena gets a 2 count! These two guys look very tired.
Cena drops Rock and sends him into the turnbuckle, schoolboy pin attempt that only gets 2!!
John picks Rock up and pushes him to the corner. They climb the ropes now and Cena wants a superplex. Rock fights him off and throws him off. Now the Rock is going for a cross body that gets caught and Rock gets picked up into the AA. It hits! Pinfall only gets 2!!!
How did that not get 3??? Wow! What a match!
Cena stands up, in pure disbelief, and decides to attempt the People'e Elbow. He walks right into a Rock Bottom that gets the pin!! The Rock wins! The Rock has done it! He came back, said he would, and now he has done it. The Rock has defeated John Cena.
The Rock defeats John Cena.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.live-wrestling.com/2012/04/congratulate-rock-won-wrestling-mania.html' title='Congratulate!! His father is Pro Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Cowboy Bob Orton, who is remembered for knocking out Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndoff in the Main Event at the inaugural WrestleMania. His uncle is Barry Orton AKA Barry O, and his grandfather is the late Bob Orton AKA the Big O.
With this kind of lineage Randy was destined to be a WWE Superstar.

As a kid Randy hung-out with his dad’s friends. Wrestling news makers like Rowdy Roddy Piper, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, and Andre the Giant were regular visitors to his Missouri home. But his father warned young Randy of life on the road and the mental and physical demands of Professional Wrestling. Randy was only briefly persuaded to abandon his dream to join the Marines. But that was not for this WWE Superstar. He was given a dishonorable discharge for unexcused absences, one lasting for 82 days. This Man of Destiny also had problems with authority and disobeyed a direct order from an officer.
After his brief stint in the Marines, Randy convinced his dad to connect him up with a try-out for the WWE. The WWE saw promise and power in Orton and struck a deal for him to train with Ohio Valley Wrestling where he won the OVW Heavyweght Championship twice.
Randy was on his way to fame. He joined the WWE and team Evolution which brought him two Intercontinental Championships. But Randy was growing too big too fast and began disrespecting and physically attacking WWE legends and veterans – including those in his own family. This bad rep earned him the nick-name Legend Killer.
But a bad press and a bad attitude could not stop this Killer. At age 24 he became the youngest person ever to hold the World Heavyweight Championship. He ditched Evolution and joined forces with Edge to create team Rated-RKO. Together Edge and Orton won a World Tag Team Championship.
Solo The Legend Killer had snatched two WWE Championship belts in one night, six World Championships, having won the World Heavyweight Championship once and the WWE Championship five times. He is also the winner of the 2009 Royal Rumble match.
Randy can not fly so high without being knocked around. The wrestling rumor is that Orton has been using performance-enhancing drugs. Sports Illustrated posted an article on its website accusing Orton of using clomiphene citrate, anastrozole and the steroids stanozolol, nandrolone, oxandrolone, and testosterone. This could have been a major spoiler for the WWE to loose this Superstar. They have made a statement on this situation, claiming that the allegations preceded the WWE Talent Wellness Program. The WWE has declined for further investigate this rumor.

Randy Orton's Pro Wrestling MovesSignature Moves
RKO (Randall Keith Orton)
Bodyscissors
Dropkick
European Uppercut
Falling Clothesline
Full Nelson Slam
Inverted Headlock Backbreaker
Randy Orton Stomp
Rope Hung DDT
Wrenching Chinlock

Finishing Moves
Driving Crossbody
O-Zone
Running Punt

Stats
Height: 6 foot 5
Weight: 245 pounds
From: St. Louis
Born: April 1, 1980

<table align="center" style="border-bottom-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); But they are now bringing them back to bring back the lost fame of WWE. The main events of WWE include the wrestle mania and the Royal Rumble. These events are organized every year by the wrestling federation. Some of the other much awaited shows for 2010 and 2011 are listed below:
Sheamus vs. ChristianThis one would seem to be a no-brainer considering how over Sheamus has gotten as the smiling babyface. Miz (with popped collar) and R-Truth have ringside tickets tonight but Johnny Ace has security toss them from the building. I’m sure that’s the last we’ll see of them.
Christian stalls to start but gets caught with a side headlock and is clotheslined down for two. Christian takes a powder and forces Sheamus to chase him but that only angers the Irish guy and Seamus puts him down. To the apron and Sheamus pounds away for two. Christian gets desperate and heads up but Sheamus catches him and delivers a blockbuster slam. Sheamus goes a little goofy and heads to the top rope so Christian takes advantage and sends him flying to the floor.
Christian slugs away back inside and hits his elbow from the second rope. Captain Charisma goes to the sleeper hold but Sheamus falls backwards to break it. Sheamus mistimes an elbow so Christian sticks and moves to get a couple shots in. Christian cuts off a Sheamus comeback attempt with a knee lift and follows with a missile dropkick for a one count.
Sheamus HULKS UP to pound Christian down and mounts his comeback with a powerslam for two. Sheamus looks for a press slam but Christian wriggles out and tries the Kill Switch. Sheamus dodges and hits the Irish Curse backbreaker for another near fall. Razor’s Edge attempt is countered and Sheamus misses a blind charge so Christian hits a tornado DDT for two.
Sheamus comes back with a hard knee lift and skins the cat up to the top rope in a very impressive spot. A shoulder block off the top hits but Christian dodges the Brogue Kick and dumps him. Christian gets caught on a baseball slide attempt and Sheamus swings him to the floor. Christian kicks Sheamus off of him and hits a spear on the floor, looking for the count out.
Sheamus beats the count at 8 and Christian hits another spear for two. Capt. Charisma heads up top and misses a big diving headbutt and they exchange finishers attempts. Christian barely misses a blind charge, hits the post and Sheamus quickly hits him with the Brogue Kick for the win.
Winner: Sheamus
-Christian was definitely game tonight and did his best to carry Sheamus to something good and he didn’t do too bad of a job ***. Sheamus certainly should be challenging for the Smackdown World title in the very near future.
Sin Cara (Mistico) vs. Sin Cara (Hunico)I’ll just refer to each guy as Mistico or Hunico because that’s much easier than explaining which Sin Cara I’m talking about each time. I’m at least glad they had EVIL~! Sin Cara switch his ring gear to an Alternate Universe outfit so I can tell the difference easier. This whole match is going to die a slow death though, I can guarantee it.
Hunico controls early, using a bow and arrow submission, but Mistico flips out and they have a stand-off to zero reaction. Test of strength leads to more lucha spots and tons of flipping until Hunico snaps off a flying head scissors and Mistico does the same. After some stalling, Mistico hits another flying headscissors and puts Hunico on the floor before flying out with a senton dive. Mistico tries an Asai moonsault but it doesn’t even come close to hitting ANYTHING so he splats on the floor like a moron.
Back in, Hunico hits a slingshot senton for two and works a chinlock. Mistico fights out and tries a somersault elbow off the ropes but Hunico grazes him with a dropkick for two. Hunico slugs Mistico to the floor and follows out with a plancha as the crowd remains absolutely silent.
Hunico serves up the chops and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for two. Sloppy sequence leads to both guys bumping heads and the crowd starts to turn on the match. More flying headscissors and flipping puts Hunico on the floor and Cara jumps to the top rope and flies off with a splash to try to wake the crowd up.
Back inside, Mistico hits a superkick but gets caught with a powerbomb for two. Both guys head up top and Mistico brings him down with an armdrag off the top. Senton off the top misses and Hunico tries another powerbomb but Mistico rolls over the top and snaps off a rollup for the pin and victory.
Winner: Sin Cara (Mistico)
-As predicted, the crowd could have given a rat’s ass about this match and they were kind of left out there to die. Hopefully, we move on quickly from this and Hunico’s Sin Cara goes the way of Brian Lee’s Underfaker gimmick. Match had a couple nice spots but was sloppy and had no real flow to it **1/2.
-Meanwhile, CM Punk tells newly minted lawyer David Otunga that he hates him.
WWE Tag Team TitlesAir Boom vs. Jack Swagger & Dolph ZigglerCole gets a funny line and says Air Boom is the worst team name since Harlem Heat. Why do I have the feeling this match is just going to be another segment in the Swagger-Ziggler feud that never ends and no one wants to see?
Kofi hits Swagger with a facebuster to start and Bourne hits a dropkick for two. Dolph tries his luck but takes a couple leg kicks and Kofi comes in with Poetry in Motion for two. More unique double teaming follows but Bourne only hits boot on a charge and Swagger checks in and hits a slam for two.
Bourne gets trapped in the heel corner but Dolph misses a splash in the corner and Kofi gets the hot tag. As he goes to mount his big offense, Swagger pulls the middle rope down and Kingston crashes to the floor in a good spot that you don’t see in tag matches all the time. Dropkick from Dolph gets two and the heels isolate Kingston in the corner for some punishment.
We go all old-school as Swagger baits Bourne into the ring and then Ziggler lays in some blows while the referee is occupied with Evan. Elbow to the sternum from Ziggler gets two and Swagger looks for the ankle lock but Kofi kicks out and hits a DDT for a double KO.
Finally, it’s hot tag Evan Bourne to kick some heel ass and he is, indeed, a house of fire. Double knee press from the top nearly kills Dolph but he kicks out at two. Standing moonsault gets two but Swagger returns and locks on the ankle lock. Kingston gets rid of Swagger but Dolph hits Kofi with a Zig Zag to put him out. Bourne gets a visual pinfall while the referee is busy clearing the ring but Ziggler gets out at two and clotheslines Evan down for the double KO.
The heels recover first and try a Superbomb from the top rope but Kofi trips up Dolph and Bourne flips Swagger off the top with a hurricanrana and pins him to keep the titles.
Winners and STILL Champions: Air Boom
-A really good tag match as Air Boom is the right kind of sympathetic babyfaces to work these kind of matches. A good effort from everyone involved ***1/4.
Hell in a Cell Match for the World Heavyweight TitleMark Henry vs. Randy OrtonRandy Orton comes out last just to annoy me. Orton hammers away to start and we head to ringside where Randy introduces Henry to the cage and clotheslines him down. Orton hits a kneedrop back inside and looks for the hangman’s DDT early but Henry sends him to the corner. Henry wraps Orton’s arm around the ring post as Cole discusses a “well-known” shoulder injury to Orton that I’ve never heard of.
Henry catches Orton coming off the apron and rams him twice into the cage and hard into the ring post in a good spot. Back in, Henry hits a running powerslam as JR is doing a good job putting over Henry’s offense while Booker just shouts “WOW!” every few seconds. Henry is extra pissed off tonight, so he powerslams Orton on the arena floor then steps on him.
Henry grabs the ring steps and tosses them at Orton but thankfully Orton moves out of the way at the last second…pretty impressive strength if they are indeed real. Henry continues his beatdown outside the ring and presses Orton’s face against the cage for a camera close up.
We head back inside and Henry hits the Big Fat Splash for two. Backbreaker puts Orton down and Henry attacks the back for two before we hit the bearhug. Orton tries to fight out but a headbutt sends him all the way to the floor and the crowd is actually hanging with them through this slow beating…that’s a good sign.
Henry looks for the World’s Fattest Slam on the ringsteps but Orton gets creative and climbs the cell to escape. He quickly hits Henry with a DDT on the ringsteps (sounds cooler than it looked) and sends him into a pair of ring posts.
Orton mounts his comeback inside the ring with a Thesz Press and a standing dropkick. Hangman’s DDT hits and the crowd goes nuts as Orton gets the RKO…for two. A really good false finish there. The crowd buzzes as Orton preps the PUNT OF CERTAIN DEATH but Henry pops up and hits him with the World’s Fattest Slam for the win.
Winner and STILL Champion: Mark Henry
-A surprisingly good match as Henry wasn’t ask to sell for a ridiculous amount of time and Orton resorted to his quickness and brain to get offense. Henry might not be the best worker on the card but he’s definitely over as a heel and the booking was solid ***1/4.
Post-match, Henry continues the beatdown and tries to Pillmanize Orton’s ankle but Randy is able to move out of the way. He repays Henry with a chairshot to the back and chases him down the aisle, forcing Henry to “run” away. I smell sequel….
-Hey great, Cody Rhodes is out for an interview on a pay-per-view…I bet people are really happy they paid $50 for this privilege. Rhodes decides that the current Intercontinental title belt is too hideous and ugly for him so he reintroduces the CLASSIC IC BELT! Mark Out City baby. OK sue me, I’m glad he came out for the interview. I thought you weren’t allowed to mention Randy Savage’s name on TV though.
BUT WAIT…Johnny Ace comes out and informs Cody he has a title match right now….
WWE Intercontinental Title
Cody Rhodes vs. John MorrisonCody is forced to wrestle in a suit so Morrison attacks immediately and gets a quick rollup for two. Rhodes whiffs on a dropkick and Morrison hooks a jackknife cover for two before working a headlock. Cody takes a powder to regroup and Morrison hits him with a dropkick and tosses his dress shirt to the crowd. Rhodes tries to take a walk but Morrison is too good for that and drags him back to ringside.
In an interesting twist, Cody puts a bearhug on the ring post and tells the referee to count him out but Morrison kicks him in the back and tosses Rhodes back inside. Cody gains control with knees and locks on a bad-looking submission hold. Rhodes gets serious and punts Morrison in the balls before looking for the Alabama Slam but Morrison rolls through for two.
Cody goes to the WOOOO figure four and hammers away while Booker and Cole argue until JR diplomatically tells them to shut up. Morrison makes his babyface comeback and hits a flipping STO for two. Cody avoids a running knee but gets hit with a bicycle Pele kick. Morrison gets a little kick-happy and tries a flash kick but Cody ducks out of the way and rolls up Morrison for the win.
Winner and STILL Champion: Cody Rhodes
-Well, you can’t say they aren’t giving Cody Rhodes a shot because they are giving him clean wins. I could have done with an announcement for this match BEFORE the PPV began but that would mean the creative team would have to plan in advance. Match was decent but nothing great **1/2.
-Meanwhile, Johnny Ace runs backstage to tell HHH that Miz and R-Truth have attacked Air Boom backstage. Trips promises Super Dave is in a lot of trouble if this happens again.
Divas TitleKelly Kelly vs. Beth PhoenixIf they don’t give Beth the win here this will officially qualify for Weirdest Booked Feud of the last 10 years. Does anyone honestly care what’s “trending on Twitter” at any one moment? Didn’t think so.
Kelly attacks and hammers away before hitting a bad-looking clothesline off the top for two. Beth thankfully stops Kelly’s screaming headscissors with a backbreaker and drops an elbow for two. Beth hangs Kelly in the Tree of Woe and delivers a dropkick to the stomach. Beth works a Dragon sleeper give me more time to Google stuff and then drives an elbow into Kelly’s lower back.
Another backbreaker hits and Beth turns it into a submission. Eve tries to get the fans to clap and cheer Kelly to victory but they completely ignore her in a funny moment. Kelly tries a surprise rollup but gets put down and a slingshot suplex gets two. Powerbomb attempt is countered into an ugly hurricanrana for two so Beth punts her in the stomach while the crowd boos out of boredom.
Beth misses a charge against the ropes and Kelly hits a neckbreaker to trigger her comeback. They do a quick pinfall reversal sequence and fight over a backslide but Beth drives her into the corner. Kelly “drives” Beth’s head to the corner in an embarrassingly bad spot and hits a handspring elbow in the corner. Kelly hits a bulldog from the top rope but it only gets two.
Natalya gets involved and tosses Eve into the security wall and Beth counters the Rocker Dropper by punting Kelly in the vagina (not kidding). Beth locks on the same bow and arrow submission that Natalya used last week on Raw as Natalya taunts her on the microphone. Kelly fights to the ropes but Natalya gingerly hits her with the microphone and the Glam Slam gets the win.
Winner and NEW Champion: Beth Phoenix
-I really hope that you didn’t think of real wrestling maneuvers when I was describing Kelly’s offense, it basically looked like an untrained model pretending to wrestle…hey, that’s actually not that far off. The match was heatless, sloppy and boring but at least the title is off of Kelly Kelly. I’m glad they booked the finish to protect Kelly though, we wouldn’t want to hurt her drawing power on the house show circuit.
WWE World TitleJohn Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Alberto Del RioIt’s only 10:00, so I’d better get a beverage refill for this one. Del Rio runs away from the two faces but eventually gets caught and beat down in the corner. Punk rolls Cena up from behind to establish the “every man for himself” theme for the rest of the bout. Cena and Punk wrestle to a stalemate and Del Rio tries a cheapshot but almost crashes into the cage. Cena lifts him with for the AA on the outside but Punk comes flying over the top, sending both guys into the cell.
Inside, Punk hits a neckbreaker on Del Rio for two while the crowd does their dueling chant deal. Punk goes searching for some plunder and finds a chair but Cena cuts him off before he can do any damage. Del Rio sends Punk into the cage from behind and fights with Cena over the chair. Del Rio gets the better of it with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for two. Cena recovers quickly and mounts his SOS Comeback but Punk returns to stop their mini-match with a KO Kick to Del Rio’s head. In a very cool spot, Punk hooks both guys and delivers a neckbreaker to Cena at the same time he DDTs Del Rio. Somewhere, Nova is sitting in a basement cursing at his television.
Punk goes under the ring again and emerges with a table, earning praise from the over-20 crowd. Cena rolls out to the apron with Punk and CM Punk hits him with a running knee but Cena shoves him off hard and Punk hits the cell. Del Rio surprises Cena with a chair shot then sets the chair up and suplexes Cena on top of it…ouch. Del Rio hangs Cena in the Tree of Woe and chokes away but makes the mistake of charging and Cena pulls himself out of the way and Del Rio hits the ring post.
Cena looks for his legdrop from the top rope but Punk quickly returns to shake Cena off the top and get two on Del Rio. Alberto recovers and cuts off Punk with a clothesline then works a chinlock to give everyone involved a little break. Cena returns without Del Rio noticing and comes off the top with his legdrop on Del Rio for two. Cena looks for the Attitude Adjustment on Del Rio but Alberto turns it into a Back Stabber and Punk gets rid of him. Cena and Punk collide heads and we have a triple KO.
Cena and Punk have a slugfest in the middle of the ring and Punk looks for the GTS but Del Rio brings the chair back into play and lays everyone out. Del Rio drags Punk on top Cena (isn’t that a pin technically?) and comes off the top with a senton for two. Del Rio looks for the cross armbreaker but Punk dumps him over the top and he lands on the ring steps to put him down.
Cena pops up and hits the Attitude Adjustment on CM Punk for two, saved by Del Rio. Alberto puts Cena down with the enzuigiri for two and tries for the cross armbreaker. Punk saves him with a slingshot splash and dumps Del Rio before hitting Go To Sleep on Cena for two again saved by Del Rio.
Del Rio dumps Punk to the outside and beats on him against the ring steps but gets surprised by a rollup when he returns to the ring to face Cena. Del Rio kicks out at two and now he’s really pissed so he runs Cena into two different sides of the cell for some punishment.
Punk recovers and meets Del Rio in the ring with bodyslams. Punk heads up top and delivers the MACHO MAN ELBOW for two before Cena returns and launches into his same old same old comeback. Punk manages to cut off the Five Knuckle Shuffle with a well-placed kick and looks for another Savage elbow but Del Rio sends him off the top and through the table that was previously set up.
Del Rio charges Cena but gets caught in the STF in the middle of the ring. Ricardo Rodriguez gets desperate and knocks out the referee on the outside, opening the cell and bringing in a steel pipe. Cena cuts him off and delivers a nasty looking Attitude Adjustment on the outside to Ricardo. Del Rio KOs Cena with the pipe and tosses Cena out of the cell and LOCKS HIM OUT. That’s just pure genius right there.
Del Rio hits Punk with a german suplex for two then tries another one but Punk switches behind him and rolls Alberto up for two. Punk heads up top but Del Rio runs up the ropes and hits a hard enzuigiri to the back of the head for two. Cena slowly comes to on the outside of the cell while Del Rio preps for the cross armbreaker inside the ring.
Punk realizes what’s going on and launches his comeback, throwing kicks to the leg and hitting a leg lariat while Cena finally realizes he can’t get back into the ring. Punk hits a bulldog while Cena searches Ricardo for the key but Del Rio actually threw it under the ring after locking him out.
Punk hits a flying clothesline from the top for two and Del Rio hits the floor to grab the lead pipe again. He cracks Punk in the skull with the pipe and taunts Cena in an awesome bit of heel-dom but takes too long getting into the ring. Punk lifts him up for the GTS but a final pipe shot to Punk’s head is enough to put him down for the pin and world championship.
Winner and NEW Champion: Alberto Del Rio
-Post-match, Cena immediately tries to attack Del Rio when the cell lifts but Miz and R-Truth run in and absolutely destroy everyone including the referee. Triple H and the entire locker room clears out for the save but someone (BOSSMAN!?!?) lowers the cell and no one can get in.
They continue their assault and even lay out the camera men as the police arrive the cut the lock open. Finally, the cell is open so Truth and Miz instantly surrender peacefully which REALLY pisses the crowd off.
The cops escort Awesome Truth out of the ring but Triple H comes FLYING into the picture and beats the hell out of both guys. He KOs Laurinaitis in the brawl and keeps throwing punches until he’s eventually pulled off and we fade to black…

Final WordWell, they saved the best for last as they had a great main event match and really booked themselves a nice angle at the end too. We have a new World’s Champion in Del Rio (hopefully for longer than 2 weeks this time) and Miz/Truth are being positioned as huge heel opponents for Triple H. While the show was drastically underpromoted since they were only given two weeks, the main event was really good and I liked the Henry-Orton stuff. Of course, I don’t know if it was worth $50 since it seemed to mainly serve as a buildup to Vengeance instead of being its own standalone PPV.
Catch the main event and the angle that follows if you can but the rest is nothing special.

Impact Wrestling Results (10/6) - Storm vs Roode, Hulk Hogan's Major Announcement

Beer Money comes out to the ring together and James Storm says he heard about Hulk's retirement, and he thinks it's about time that he took a backseat to the young guys who bust their asses. Storm says he hopes Hulk has fun trying to follow his match with Roode because they will tear the building down. Roode says welcome home to Storm and says he was taken back by Kurt Angle making Fortune fight each other, because they are family. The matches over the past weeks are exactly what he needed, and he can prove to everyone that he is ready for Kurt, and tonight he needs the best out of him. Storm says he is going to bring everything he has because he has a little more to prove, and he just might be a little better than Roode tonight.
Gunner vs Kazarian
Gunner backs Kaz into the corner and applies an armbar, but Kaz reverses it and hiptosses him then clotheslines him out of the ring. Kaz leaps out to the apron but Gunner catches his foot and slams him face first on the apron, then starts working on Kaz's left shoulder. Kaz fights back but Gunner drops him with a shoulder breaker and follows it with a kneedrop. Gunner misses a axehandle smash and Kaz hits a springboard elbow and a legdrop, but Kaz gets thrown shoulder first into the ringpost after a reversal. Gunner puts him in an arm submission and gets Kaz to tap, but he doesn't let go and the referee reverses the decision. Gunner leaves after referees check on Kaz and he screams to the fans that he broke his arm.
Winner (by reverse decision) - Kazarian
Mr. Anderson comes out and says he is there to do something he is not known for doing. He is going to apologize to his assholes for turning his back on them in a moment of weakness. Anderson says he is not an ass kisser and he has had to claw and fight for everything he has, and he was weak and joined Immortal. He doesn't regret it because he learned from it, then calls Bully Ray a giant douchebag, which brings Bully Ray out to the arena. Ray tells Anderson he wants to make this quick and Anderson says he always got the upperhand on him and Ray says he embarrased him. Ray tells him he is not getting another match, but Anderson says Bound For Glory is in Philadelphia and it is where he got his start. He asks for a Falls Count Anywhere match and says Ray should have an easy decision in accepting it, then drops the mic and leaves Ray standing in the ring.

<div class="pagenavbar" style="overflow-x: hidden; The problem is that everybody around this ring right now, including myself, are paying the price for it. Somebody doesn’t want you running this company and as long as you are running this company I’m afraid things are only going to get worse. Like it or not, you’re the reason all of this is happening."

Lawler’s words were followed by a unanimous vote of no confidence by the WWE Superstars, Divas and referees. The King subsequently expressed his own vote of no confidence and his actions following that vote which created the domino effect that may have changed the longest running episodic television show in history forever.

“I’m voting no confidence, too. They’re showing their support for men’s health awareness by growing – or drawing on – mustaches.
“Movember is about mustaches – mustaches galore!” Kaitlyn told WWE.com. “But it’s also about raising awareness for prostate cancer and giving men’s health its own month – kind of like how Breast Cancer Awareness Month is in October. It’s all for a good cause.”
Kaitlyn is just one of several Superstars and Divas celebrating Movember by issuing a challenge to the WWE Universe to join their cause and support the fight against prostate cancer, plus other cancers that affect men.
“Movember consists of growing a gnarly mustache – for me, at least. It’s not a very good mustache, but I am letting it go all out,” Ted DiBiase admitted to WWE.com. “I'm very happy and proud to because it’s for a great cause. We are raising money for prostate cancer research and raising awareness to help battle prostate cancer.”
At the beginning of Movember, "Mo Bros" like DiBiase and Johnny Curtis start off clean shaven. Throughout the month, as they grow mustaches, they will raise money and awareness for their cause.
“My great uncle, Earnest, had prostate cancer, and a couple of my cousins have prostate cancer, so this is a really great cause for me, personally, having family members who have had it before,” Curtis said.
“I’m going to grow a caterpillar – a Theo Huxtable across the top lip," the NXT Rookie turned WWE Superstar explained.
"Mo Sistas" – such as Kaitlyn and AJ – will cheer on the Mo Bros in their cause, and have also started support teams.
“Originally, I thought, how could I contribute? So I thought, 'I’m going to grow a mustache.’ I tried and you know what? My genes won’t let me – not that great. It’s kind of there, but not really,” AJ joked.
“Movember is not just limited to guys. Guys are the ones who actually have the ability to grow mustaches for us, but girls can join our teams, too. We just did the fancy little mustache on the finger,” the Diva said, holding her index finger to her upper lip.
“You can get a Mario and Luigi mustache if you want. I saw a pair of sunglasses with a hanging mustache, so that’s pretty awesome. You can participate any way you want. Just join our team!” she said, encouraging the WWE Universe to visit her Twitter -- @WWEAJLee – for more information.
Like AJ, Kaitlyn hopes to gain Movember supporters online and through social media.
“My team name for the month of Movember is ‘Kaitlyn’s Dapper Dudes and Dudettes,’ “ the NXT season three winner said. “I’ve been retweeting a lot of awesome mustache pictures for people who have been submitting them to me. It’s really fun and it gives people a chance to be a part of it. So, if you have an awesome mustache, or if you can draw one on, definitely send it to me, and I will retweet it!”
This is the first time DiBiase is growing a mustache, and he’s proud it’s in honor of Movember. “If this can be one of those things that brings awareness and attention and helps save some lives, then I’m on board,” he said.
Does DiBiase think his new look will stick? He says it just might grow on him.
“Maybe I’ll consult with the WWE Universe and see what they think,” he said. “Hey, if they like it, I might rock it for another month. But I do have to take Christmas card pictures pretty soon, so we’ll see. I have no qualms with rockin’ the ‘stache for a little while - as long as it’s not too itchy!”
For more information on Movember, visit us.movember.com.To join one of the Superstars’ and Divas’ Movember teams, visit their Twitter pages for more information:

WWE News on Rock’s Return, Cena’s Heat & More

Dwayne Johnson has not decided upon a Guest Host date for WWE Raw. It looked likely that he would be on the show in January to promote The Tooth Fairy, yet his publicity schedule is filling up rapidly and leaves little time to do Raw. Chances are that he will not be on the January 4th show to go head-to-head with Hulk Hogan’s TNA Impact, or against the UFC live show on January 11th. This movie is likely to be his last family comedy for a while as he wants to move on to other types of movies now. His next one, The Other Guys with Samuel L. Jackson, will be out in the summer. He starts shooting Faster, with Billy Bob Thornton, on January 22nd. There is a chance he will not be available for Raw until March at the earliest.
The Little People’s Court skit wound up being bumped from Raw last week due to a timing issue. Talent relations struggled to get answers from the creative team about how many midgets to book, how many would have speaking roles, how many men and women they wanted, et cetera. It was Vince McMahon’s idea and the other writers were hesitant to give firm answers without his agreement, yet by the time Vince got back to them it was the weekend and too late to arrange it all for Monday. A number of the writers were deliberately dragging their feet about it because they were down on the whole idea. There is also some consideration of the TLC match having a Hornswoggle run-in at the finish.
The Carlito promo on John Cena being unpopular backstage on Raw last week has at least some basis in reality. Cena has quite a few backstage detractors at the moment who feel that he is a kiss ass. The ongoing, one-sided war of words with The Rock did not help him at all in such regards, although almost all of that was Vince McMahon speaking through Cena. His hard work and role as a company representative has bred some jealousy among his peers.
Amy Hennig has not been getting positive reports from Harley Race’s training camp. The trainers recognise her athletic ability and conditioning but feel she does not listen to their advice on actual wrestling skills. The perception of her is that she wants to get by on being Curt Hennig’s daughter, whereas her brother Joe is the opposite and wants to make it as an individual. When Joe was in Florida Championship Wrestling the WWE trainers wanted him to copy all the Mr Perfect mannerisms, which he was not into at all. Apparently Go Shiozaki cut a promo on Amy at Race’s camp for always trying to be Mr Perfect instead of being Amy Hennig.
Gerald Brisco is not expected to return to work as an agent for WWE. Instead, chances are that he will help out with developmental, where his son Wes wrestles. This is partly to do with health concerns about being on the road in a high-pressure environment at his age. Brisco might also be used as a talent scout for independent wrestling shows and the NCAA.

WWE

WE has experienced a decrease in its rating, this is because they had released some of their superstars in the past. The next night, I let my frustrations get to me and I just let out everything I’ve been holding back.”
By the looks of her attack on Beth, Kelly had been holding back a lot. In a moment that many WWE fans likened to demonic possession, the perky blonde kicked and screamed as she unleashed hell on Beth Phoenix, repeatedly slamming The Glamazon’s head into the business end of the announcer’s table. (WATCH)
It was an aggressive side the friendly Diva suppressed for some time. Transitioning from the pages of bikini magazines to the WWE rings of Extreme Championship Wrestling in 2006, Kelly Kelly was an impressionable teenager when she first entered the rough world of sports-entertainment. Fun loving and naive, she made mistakes early like painting an American flag on her bare chest and dating the walking carpet known as Mike Knox. The Florida native soon found her way, though, developing as a singles competitor before finally capturing the Divas Championship in June of 2011.
But Kelly’s crowning achievement soon became a cross to bear when she was targeted by Beth & Natalya — two women who believed it was their purpose in life to “save” the Divas division. Labeling the beautiful blonde as a sham champion, the powerful duo offered Kelly no respect, routinely attacking her after matches and dismissing her as nothing more than a model trying to pass for a grappler.
Kelly weathered the abuse with the help of her good friend Eve and even beat Beth on two consecutive occasions, but something changed inside of her when The Glamazon defeated her for the Divas Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell with some outside help from Natalya. In the five years since she debuted as a grinning exhibitionist, Kelly has fought back against negativity and naysayers to earn the respect of not only WWE fans, but the Divas locker room and she's not about to let her tormentors take that away from her.
“After five years, this is finally my time,” the determined Diva said. “I’m going to take it and I’m going to show people that I’m not just a pretty face.”
Sounding more confident and gritty than she ever has, Kelly made it clear that she will not settle until she reclaims the Divas Championship. And to the woman currently holding that title, she has this to say:
“There's much more of this side of me to come.

The BIGGEST battles in WWE history

WWE history

By: Ryan Murphy December 15, 2011

Tags: WWE TLC 2011, Undertaker, Kane

Giants have been one of sports-entertainment’s most popular attractions since the 1950s when plodding behemoths like Happy Humphrey and Haystacks Calhoun used their ample girth to break canvases across the country. Andre the Giant changed the game in the 1970s when he proved that a big man could actually move. Today, massive Superstars like Big Show and Kane are taking it even further by throwing their weight around in ways never thought possible. (PHOTOS)
With The World’s Largest Athlete set to square off with World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry at WWE TLC, (MATCH PREVIEW) WWE.com decided to weigh in on some of the most gargantuan big man battles in WWE history. Surprisingly, none of them occurred in the buffet line at Golden Corral.

03:53

The Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzales
Total combined weight: 755 pounds
From the 450-pound King Kong Bundy to the monstrous Kane, The Undertaker has felled more giants than any Superstar in WWE history, but none of The Deadman’s opponents matched the towering height of the 8-foot-tall Giant Gonzales. A man-beast from the mountains of Argentina, Gonzales looked like a Ripley’s Believe It or Not! exhibit come to life and nearly dealt The Undertaker his first loss on The Grandest Stage of Them All when the heavy hitters clashed at WrestleMania IX. Of course, The Demon from Death Valley survived — as he always does — and went on to lay the giant to rest for good at SummerSlam in 1993.

02:08

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Bastion Booger
Total combined weight: 791 pounds
Shortlisted by greats like Bret “Hit Man” Hart as one of the most gifted big men of all time, Bam Bam Bigelow busted scales at 390 pounds, but he could cartwheel and moonsault like a cruiserweight. Bastion Booger, on the other hand, was just a guy who liked to abuse his make-your-own-sundae bar privileges. In January of 1994, the superheavyweights tested the integrity of the Raw ring after Bam Bam caught the human garbage can slobbering over his main squeeze, the unpredictable Luna Vachon. Bigelow flicked Booger in a few minutes, but it took the ring crew hours to clean up the stains the ogre left behind.

01:25

Big Show vs. The Great Khali
Total combined weight: 861 pounds
The World’s Largest Athlete and The Punjabi Titan could have formed a friendship based on a shared love of roomy slacks and a mutual hatred of compact cars. Instead, they became heated rivals who clashed in grand fashion at Backlash in 2008. Looking to reclaim his spot as WWE's giant after losing to Floyd Mayweather at WrestleMania, the 7-footer targeted the biggest dog in the yard — The Great Khali. The colossus tried to prevent the bout by offering his opponent a chicken and a goat as a peace offering, but no farm animal could save Khali from the beating he received.

01:59

Andre the Giant vs. Big John Studd
Total combined weight: 905 pounds
Andre the Giant was born big in the French Alps in 1946 and grew, quite literally, to become one of sports-entertainment's greatest attractions. Few were foolish enough to challenge Andre’s spot as WWE’s true giant, but the powerful Big John Studd did just that at the inaugural WrestleMania in 1985. He quickly learned this was a mistake. Although he was a Royal Rumble winner who weighed nearly 400 pounds, Studd looked downright preadolescent in the shadow of The Eighth Wonder of the World. Few were shocked when The Giant quickly disposed of Big John.

01:36

Big Show vs. Akebono
Total combined weight: 999 pounds
A legitimate sumo wrestling champion in Japan, the 500-plus pound Akebono stomped into L.A.’s Staples Center to battle Big Show in WrestleMania’s first Sumo Match in 2005. The results weren’t pretty. That’s not to say the bout was bad — even though it was awkward and lasted a little longer than a minute. No, it was the sight of two men who collectively weigh as much as a Kia dressed in nothing but adult diapers that made this one of the ugliest scraps of all time.

01:44

Vader vs. Yokozuna
Total combined weight: 1050 pounds
One of sports-entertainment’s hardest hitting competitors, Vader did not face many opponents who could challenge his immense size — that was until he met Yokozuna. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing well over 600 pounds, the sumo wrestler was the largest man to ever hold the WWE Championship and a problem for every Superstar he faced. Outsized and outmatched by the mighty Yokozuna, The Rocky Mountain Mastodon avoided his opponent when the two behemoths collided at In Your House: Beware of Dog in 1996 before stealing a win thanks to the help of his eely manager, Jim Cornette.

03:18

ECW’s Monster Mash Battle Royal
Total combined weight: 1569 pounds
If the combined strength of The Great Khali, Kane and Big Daddy V couldn’t stop Mark Henry, how does Big Show expect to do it? Facing these behemoths in ECW’s epic Monster Mash Battle Royal on October 30, 2007, the gatekeeper of the Hall of Pain showed his awesome power by manhandling The Punjabi Titan before flinging The Big Red Monster over the top rope like he was taking out the trash. Yes, perhaps they were a somewhat simple-looking, rather obvious construct. Yet they truly emphasized the magnitude of the annual Showcase of the Immortals, and had such a unique look and feel that to this day has yet to be recaptured. Who can ever forget the arrival of Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III, inside the cart with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan - or "The Brain's" subsequent breakdown in the vehicle after his giant's defeat at the hands of Hulk Hogan?
CLASSIC RING CART PHOTOS
Need others reasons why WWE should bring the ring carts back? Here are ten:
1) Whenever you have a long night of getting suplexed off the top rope, knocked through the ringside barricade or RKO’ed onto an announce table, you kinda need your rest.
2) They allow Hornswoggle to see what Big Show feels like in a regular ring.
3) Having a driver on the way to your match will prevent you from getting lost.
4) Let’s face it: walking’s overrated.
5) They give you a few extra moments of pre-match preparation, which you can use to review your overall strategy, check your e-mail inbox or just find your mom in the crowd.
6) They increase the chances that your opponent will psych himself out while he waits for you – those carts weren’t Ferraris.
7) Did we mention walking is overrated?
8) They allow you the ideal stage to create your classic post-match tableau as you leave the ring, with that dramatic body configuration that best captures your greatest triumph or most humiliating defeat.
9) When you surround yourself with a smaller ring, you, in turn, now look bigger.
10) If nothing else, it’s just darn good fun.

Day After Raw: Your Tweets

By: Craig Tello January 17, 2012

Tags: WWE Raw SuperShow: January 16, 2012, Mick Foley, CM Punk

Bell to Belding, Monday's Raw SuperShow was filled with returns and cameos in Anaheim,Calif. A climactic ending sequence involving livid WWE EVP John Laurinaitis and Mick Foley foiled the visual of Mr. Socko's cotton comeuppance in the main event ... but it's all right because Raw was saved by the bell.
It's the day after Raw. Let's see what you thought ...
The taste of sweet sock-cess
The WWE Universe had a nice day on Monday thanks, in part, to the tube socked success of Mick Foley alongside WWE Champion CM Punk against Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry and David Otunga. The reemergence of Mr. Socko from the sweatpants of Foley drew WWE fans to their feet even after being soured by an anticlimactic return to action by Chris Jericho, who deserted his team.
Of course, the terse, tense verbal exchange between Punk and Interim Raw GM (shades of Austin-McMahon) led to the executive's blown gasket and ensuing microphone blast to Mick's noggin. (WATCH) Foley may have left Raw with a bad taste in his mouth following the cheap shot by Laurinaitis, but you can bet it'll be Otunga who will be filling his coffee mug with mouthwash instead of his usual joe for the next week.
@mikec3563: @realMickFoley Nice to see you get some in ring time live on a #Raw main event, i get chills when you pull out Mr Socko. Pure nostaligia :-)
@JTWyatt: @realMickFoley We need more of u on #Raw. Loving it. #WWE #RAW
@Whovian_24: The fact of the matter is there will NEVER be another 'Austin vs McMahon' like feud. @WWE #RAW

Mr. Belding drops in

“Hey, hey, hey—what is going on here!?” Bayside High's favorite principal was spotted behind the blabbering Michael Cole at the announce desk in Anaheim. Dennis "Mr. Belding" Haskins himself from the teen TV sitcom sensation "Saved By the Bell" got an up-close look at WWE's Zack and Kelly (among others). He even got passed up by Jericho in the middle of one of Y2J’s ringside parades.
An acquaintance of Long Island Iced-Z and an active participant in the Ryder Revolution, Haskins is clearly more beloved than Perez Hilton (who spoke with WWE.com in an exclusive interview), if you heard the crowd or read a fraction of the tweets from Monday evening. But the cameo by Belding (camera-mugging in the crowd like Kevin Nash when the Outsider first arrived in WCW) raised a number of questions about his presence. Just because we didn't see Miss Bliss or Mr. Testaverde doesn't mean a Bayside invasion is out of the question.

@mrbelding: To all WWE fans! Haven't seen him enjoy a wrestling match this much since the Bayside/Valley prank war.
@Jabotism: I wonder if Mr.Belding gave @IAmJericho detention for walking out on the match tonight? #RAW
@PINFALLMagazine: Mr. Belding was left hanging by Jericho. #Raw
@Ivory_May: Haven't seen Perez Hilton in a while, wow, he got slim ö.ö #WWE #RAW
@FrontRowBrian: Mr. Belding really is at #RAW. #WWE
@MarkinOut: Mr. Belding's rocking out behind Lawler & Cole. #WWE #RAW
@Bill_Baconhill: Jericho leaving Mr. Belding hanging there was hilarious. #raw
@Shar316: OMG it's Perez Hilton!! Such an incredible symbol of excellence requires a look that will once again reflect the stand-out grapplers who have risen to the top of the WWE mountain.
(WWE TITLE PHOTOS | WWE CHAMPIONS WEIGH IN ON REPLACING WWE TITLE)
WWE.com joins the call of the WWE Universe on Facebook and Twitter, pleading for the WWE to abandon the current “Spinner Title” design and return to the pride and tradition radiated by past WWE Titles.
The WWE Title carried to ring today was created specifically for John Cena, reflecting a time when The Cenation Commander-in-Chief was rapping his way through SmackDown. However, while Cena has long since traded in the giant chain around his neck for dog tags, the Spinner design is still “kicking it old school.” Shouldn’t it have long since gone the direction of other classic personalized titles like Edge’s Rated-R Superstar Spinner modification and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s “Smoking Skull” Championship?
If a change is required, there is no shortage of prestigious replacements from which to pick. Looking back through the annals of WWE history, the Winged Eagle Title has to be at the forefront. First introduced for the epic rematch between Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant on The Main Event in '88, this awe-inspiring prize instantly rose to prominence, walking hand-in-hand with WWE elite from “Macho Man” Randy Savage to Bret “Hit Man” Hart to The Undertaker.
Still, the sheer popularly of the Winged gold does not make it the only brass ring in the sea. Another earth-shattering possibility would be its Attitude Era cousin, featuring a variation of the Eagle, along with a more circular structure similar to the traditional championship, a bigger globe and the larger “Champion” on the bottom.
Not only was the Attitude Era Title carried by greats including The Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and a slew of other tremendous champions, but bringing back a symbol of WWE’s period of uncontrollable bedlam is truly befitting of the rebellious nature of the current titleholder CM Punk.
Some variation of the WWE Undisputed Championship design might make a comeback. Sporting a classy black and gold layout, this celebrated title made famous by legends like the late Eddie Guerrero screams elite and dignified all at the same time.
Other classic treasures, such as the 1986 Hulk Hogan WWE Title – which he carried into battle for the majority of his legendary first reign in the ’80s – also deserves consideration.
There is enormous glory embedded in past incarnations of WWE’s most coveted prize. So please, stop the collective head of the WWE Universe from spinning and bring back any WWE Title design other than the current title!
